ENVISION(R) provides the physics-based virtual reality technology forsimulation-based design and concurrent engineering utilizing virtualprototypes. Interfaces are available for most head-mounted displays,booms and other virtual reality devices.The ENVISION package includes built-in libraries of robots, commonproduction equipment and application-specific tooling, such as spot weldguns. These libraries, an integrated CAD system and data translators forIGES, DXF and other file formats support the rapid development ofaccurate simulation models. Simulation and analysis funactions includeautomatic collision and near-miss detection and automatic adjustment of arobot work envelope for tool offsets and joint limits.
